Ready for a quick and easy Christmas craft project using book pages? I found this tutorial for a Christmas tree made from book pages on pinterest and had to give it a try. I scouted out books that I thought would be interesting (the printing isn’t really visible- I’m just nerdy that way). I used pages from an old hymnal for one, pages from a songbook for another, and pages from a french dictionary for the third.
I did a few things differently from the tutorial: I hot glued the two halves together rather than using dry adhesive (whatever that is). I also did both halves exactly the same rather than reversing the process- oops! I perched them on old pewter candlesticks I already had. The pages of the songbook were thicker than the other books, so I only used 20 pages for each half.
An easy project to Christmas-ize the entry table.
Is this something you’ll try? Would you add something to the top? Bling them up a little?
Thanks for a great tutorial, Kayla Aimee!

Wow I have not seen this project in a long time. My grandmother taught me how to do this in the early 60′s using the Sears catalog. She used it as a door stop. Love your website by the way. You have always been so crafty.
